The Yaxell Taishi 3-layer knife collection is built for cooks who want sharp, reliable performance with a clean Japanese aesthetic. Designed for everyday prep, Taishi knives deliver controlled cutting and long-lasting edge performance across a wide range of tasks, from slicing and chopping to precise tip work depending on the knife shape.
Each blade uses a 3-layer construction with a VG10 “super stainless steel” core composed of cobalt, molybdenum, and vanadium, clad with high-quality stainless steel on both sides. This structure supports durability and corrosion resistance, while delivering an extremely sharp cutting edge and long cutting performance. A distinctive KATANA sword wave line is clearly observed on the blade, adding a refined signature detail.
For secure handling, the handle is made from EU food-safe regulation approved black beech pakkawood for outstanding stability. Stainless steel bolster and end cap components help provide excellent balance for the whole knife, giving you confident control and a premium, finished feel in hand.
